Tasting note: Aromas of primarily pear and apple compote exhibit a pretty floral top note. The exceptionally rich, indeed even opulent, medium-bodied flavors possess a generous and lush mouthfeel before concluding in a bone-dry and acceptably persistent finish. I would be inclined to drink this on the earlier side as I worry that it may become top heavy with more than a few years of keeping.
