There's such beauty to this, with mineral, currant, black licorice and berry on the nose. Full-bodied, with supervelvety tannins and a long, long finish. The best Pibran in a long time. (JS)

A sleeper of the vintage in many a year, the 2005 Pibran is once again a very successful wine. Dense opaque purple, with loads of crème de cassis fruit, licorice and incense, the wine is medium to full-bodied, beautifully pure, and should hit full maturity in about 3-4 years and last at least 15-20.
