Recent Wine events in February and March featured small Family Owned Vineyards from Napa Valley. On February 21 we were visited by Anthony Truchard of Truchard Vineyards in Carneros-Napa.. Anthony engaged our sold out tasting with stories of growing up on the farm and vineyard property. With a history of over 50 years in Carneros, they began producing their own estate grown wines in 1989.

Adam Fox, Managing Partner of Canard Vineyards in Calistoga Napa visted us March 8 and shared the estate Bordeaux varietals - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Cabernet Franc with they apply in different recipes to 3 red blends: Adams Blend, The Rescuer and Throwback. Adam was very informative regarding the current dynamics of the dwindling numbers of small family owned vineyards and wineries in Napa Valley
