The 2016 Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore Seccal hits that sweet spot between an easy-drinking Valpolicella and a higher-maintenance Amarone. This accessible wine unfolds easily to reveal lots of dark fruit, spice and plum. This blend of 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 5% Molinara and 5% Croatina sees 16 months of barrel age. Pair it with spicy barbecued meats. Some 92,000 bottles were made.
