The 2014 Zinfandel Rockpile Ridge Vineyard has an opaque ruby/purple color, a sensational, rich, full-bodied mouthfeel, great fruit purity, and a deep, mineral-laced, peppery finish. Alcohol again is just under 15%, but it carries it beautifully with no heat whatsoever. This full-throttle, rich Zinfandel should age nicely for 10 years. (RP)
