This Chardonnay comes from 50 yr. old vines from a biodynamic producer in one of the smallest appellations in the Cote de Beaune, Monthelie. Aged 10 months in French oak, very little new, the fruit concentration shines with the wood playing a background role. Very complex with orange zest, ripe melons, and lemon custard.
